Invest in real estate and become a landlord for just 100 yuan—it’s not a gimmick, and it’s legal

According to MoneyTalksNews, becoming a real estate mogul might seem out of reach unless you are a billionaire; however, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has now opened a gateway for the general public. Through “Arrived,” a startup backed by Bezos, investors can get started in real estate with as little as $100.

Arrived offers fractional ownership of residential real estate. With a minimum investment of just $100, investors can purchase a share of a vacation rental or a single-family home via the platform. Returns for investors come primarily from two sources: the appreciation of the property itself and regular rental income.

Arrived notes that while the platform cannot guarantee specific rates of return, past investors in vacation rentals and single-family homes have seen annualized returns ranging from 6% to 15%.

To get started, users can sign up for a free Arrived account and browse the available properties in the platform’s portfolio. Arrived points out that listed properties often sell out within 24 hours. Once a share is selected, the investment can be finalized by linking a bank account and transferring the initial funds to the Arrived platform.
